Stride is a daily fundraising coaching platform operated by Friendship Circle International (FCI), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Stride helps Team Friendship participants raise funds for individuals with special needs through daily coaching delivered via SMS text messages and a web-based dashboard.

When you use Stride, we collect:

• Name and phone number provided during Team Friendship event registration
• Fundraising progress data including donation amounts and campaign activity
• App usage data such as daily task completions, streak progress, and coaching interactions
• Device information for push notification delivery (if you opt in to notifications)

How We Use Your Information

• Deliver daily fundraising coaching via SMS text messages
• Display your personalized coaching dashboard and progress
• Send donation notifications and milestone celebrations
• Send reminder messages to help you stay on track
• Improve our coaching program and participant experience

SMS Text Messages

By entering your phone number on Stride, you consent to receive recurring SMS text messages related to your fundraising coaching. Message frequency varies (typically 1-2 messages per day during active coaching periods). Message and data rates may apply.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• Service providers that help us operate Stride (e.g., Twilio for SMS delivery, Vercel for hosting, Neon for database)
• Team Friendship event administrators who manage your fundraising campaign

All service providers are bound by their own privacy policies and data protection obligations.

Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure database storage, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Data Retention

We retain your information for the duration of your participation in Team Friendship events and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping purposes. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
